Heather Peterson, MD

Since completing her residency in 2003, Dr. Peterson has practiced in an Air Force clinic, a community federally funded health clinic, and 2 suburban private practices. She helped launch an autism screening program and serves on a board to help reduce drug and alcohol use in teens. She is double board certified in pediatrics and integrative medicine. Her passion for nutrition has driven her to complete multiple post-master's classes in nutrition and certificate programs in Culinary Medicine and Plant-Based Nutrition. When she's not cooking, she enjoys hiking, yoga, and running. She also loves to travel, attend theater, read, and garden and spend time with her husband and 3 children. She is a certified laughter yoga leader and loves to share this and her nutrition knowledge by volunteering in schools
